Phuket Country Club was designed by Sukitthi Klangvisai and opened in 1989. Set in a valley and built over a reclaimed tin mine site, it offers a couple of interesting holes for you to negotiate. The 10th hole for instance is a horse shoe shape which offers you risk and reward. You can either go over the lake straight for the green or for the more cautious of golfers you can go around. The choice is yours. There is also the 17th par 3 island green if you manage to get on you may still have a hundred foot putt as the green is 54 yards.
