Krung Kavee Golf Course & Country Club

Krung Kavee Golf Course and CC is only 45 minutes from the centre of Bangkok and only 30 Minutes from Don Muang International Airport.

 

As one of the cheaper golf courses in Bangkok do not expect too much when you play in terms of appearance and layout. However, there are some very tough holes and a par 3 with an island green. At 7,082 yards the par 72 course is great for the long hitters, as he has created over six par fours running at over 400 yards. However he has also offered four sets of tees giving all level of golfers different playing challenges.

 

Luckily you’ll find about 50% fewer bunkers here than on most courses in the region, and water is hardly an issue, coming into play only on the par three 9th hole which is an island green playing 190 from the blue tees, 85 yards from the front. It is the number 17 handicap hole, meaning it is the second easiest on the course, which is comforting after playing the most difficult, 470-yard par four 8th hole.Definitely a golf course worth playing for a warm up round or to include in the “Cheap as Chips” Package.

 

The clubhouse has a very nice restaurant with great Thai and European dishes. The locker rooms are very nice and are at a 5 Star standard.
