Suwan Golf and Country Club is one my favourite golf courses in Bangkok and in my “Darryl’s Top Picks Tour”
Established in 2005 this 18-hole golf course has some excellent holes which challenge even low handicap golfers. Built 45 minutes west of Bangkok Suwan Golf and Country Club is surrounded by fruit orchards, rice fields, palm trees, and lotus ponds, making this course very picturesque to play on.
The fairways are very undulating creating some difficult lies even after a nice drive off the tee. There are a few raised greens to make your 2nd shot that little bit more difficult.
The signature hole is a favourite of mine with a slight dog leg right then a tough shot into a green protected by water and bunkers. This is a beautiful looking hole with palm trees in front of you and a massive lotus pond lining one side of the fairway.
Clubhouse is great and the locker rooms are of a high standard. Staff are very attentive as are the caddies.
