Thana City Country Club

Thana City Country Club was built in 1993, designed by the famous Aussie golfer Greg Norman. Thana City is only 35 minutes on the Bang-Trad Highway where many golf courses in Bangkok are situated.

 

This is one of the most improved courses in the last 2 years, where they have redesigned some of the holes and installed great drainage systems to allow you to play all year round.

 

I particularly like the Par 3 13^th hole which is fairly short, but all carry over water. It has a smallish green with a few contours to make it that little bit more difficult.

 

Thana City Country Club has not only concentrated on the golf course itself they have also improved the clubhouse, locker rooms, proshop and restaurant to a very high standard.

 

This venue also has one of the best Driving Ranges in Thailand for your pre-game warm up.

 

I highly recommend this golf course as part of your package and even play when you have arrived or before you depart as it is very close to Suvarnabhumi airport.
