Bangpra Golf Club

Bangpra Golf Club was opened in 1958 and one of the first golf courses to be built in Pattaya. Then 30 years later in 1988 the golf course was redesigned, and the facilities upgraded.

 

The front nine has perhaps the edge on the back nine and is laid out at the foot of a small tree clad hill. The 2nd a par three across water and the long par 4 3rd are highlights here along with a very long par 5 on the 7th running at 622 yards.

 

The back nine holes are flatter and perhaps not so exciting, but still have plenty of natural hazards such as trees, ponds and lakes flanking many of the small, fast greens. Fun especially for golf vacationers here are the wild monkeys who run around the 16th hole, so beware of your camera and wallet here!

 

A luxurious modern clubhouse comes lavishly furnished with locker rooms featuring Japanese style baths. The clubhouse restaurant specializes in Japanese cuisine which makes after golf dining particularly well suited to those who prefer this type of food.
