Emerald Golf Club

Emerald Golf Club formerly known as the Rayong Century Golf Club and opened in 1995, new owners then renovated the course in 2006 and renamed it The Emerald Golf Club. Originally designed by Sir Nick Faldo and created by Dennis Muirhead, the course offering 6,628 yards, is located in Ban Chang around 50 minutes east of Pattaya and ten minutes from Eastern Star.

 

Set alongside some mountains, this is one of the regions true country courses, with the majority of the holes as single-track layouts. The designers have used the hilly conditions and mature forest to offer a beautiful and peaceful round of golf.

 

If you like the challenge of some elevated tees down or up to some large but undulating greens, then you will have found your golfers heaven. On the whole the conditions of the fairways and greens are good and some of their par 3’s are great fun, hitting over valleys up to some tricky greens.

 

Don’t expect a five-star golfing experience here as the clubhouse is quite basic, but the beers are cool, and their rates are very fair too. If you are looking for an enjoyable round with your friends, then this country set up will not let you down.
