Khao Kheow Country Club situated 45 minutes outside of Pattaya was opened in 1992 and the 27-Hole course was designed by Pete Dye. Like so many of the Eastern Seaboard’s courses, this golf course is set in a valley between 2 hills and strong sea breezes are prevalent most afternoons. The course plays quite long and the elevation changes between holes is a welcome differentiating point compared to the other flatter courses in the surrounding area.
All 3 nines are very challenging with difficult par 4’s to contend with and also some fun Par 3’s especially the 17th on the B Course which is very similar to the island green at Sawgrass. The facilities are ok with decent enough locker rooms, restaurant and proshop.
I believe most of you will enjoy Khao Kheow Country Club and especially the price as it is one of the cheaper courses in the area.
